When the prototype nearly becomes the final product
I've written recently that i quickly designed an ugly looking dev board for my home environment sensor in order to make a more complete prototype with a living room clock.
Then i learned about the m5stack device which is an all-in-one prototyping solution with some sensors, display, battery and powered by an ESP32. How handy!
This screamed for a re-do on the prototype board. Again, shitty soldering with the same shitty cabling.
The m5stack has the benefit of having a "base" and some modules which you can prototype yourself and attach to the main unit. Looks very neat!
